No final boss or, for that matter, anything halfway challenging. In the case of Deus Ex, though, the endings sucked ass. ![]() Spoiler in case there's one more person that hasn't finished Deus Ex. Baldur's Gate II took me 300+ hours due to going back and choosing a different route during branches in the game.In addition, the times that I played both games were under less than God-box conditions and forced me to make certain graphical compromises that no longer apply. As such, much like someone hearing Hendrix for the first time twenty years later, I was able to appreciate the art far removed from the initial prejudices and any unwarranted praise.I'm not quite sure what my point is, but there ya go.Oh yeah, they both rock. ![]() I'm the kind of guy that has to explore everything. Just recently has my life settled enough for me to invest the time and attention this game deserved. With Deus Ex, it lost my attention around Hong Kong (admittedly, certain substances injested during that chapter of my life had temporarily decreased my attention span) and I was intimidated by all the canals that I would have to explore and the limited air with which I had to explore them. Oh yeah.I finally finished each of these classics. In the case of System Shock 2, I was initally playing it under certain conditions in 2000 that ended before I finished the game. ![]()
